2016 Burrillville Little League Season

Special Visitors

On Thursday we have the pleasure of hosting two umpires from Sydney Australia at the majors game between NRS and KOC. These Gentleman have been selected to call the international championship game prior to the Little League World Series and are volunteering to visit us this week

They came to the states for an umpire clinic in Williamsport in preparation for the international tournament this summer. While there, they befriended one of our local umpires (Scott Rabidoux,) who will be umpiring in the international tournament as well. After some discussion last week they were looking to umpire a "small town" baseball game before leaving the states this weekend. While its all about the kids and Mr Rabidoux organized this event I would like a good turnout for these gentleman. Showing them the hospitality and professionalism that Burrillville provides along with what small town America still possesses.

So please pass this along to anyone who may be interested in attending. I am looking for a sore keeper for the game and possibly someone to announce from the booth as well. Thanks for your help and I look forward to seeing you all there.
